This Privacy Policy explains how Dunescape Development LLC (“Dunescape,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our websites, forums, customer support, and the game Empyrean Order (including launchers, clients, console/mobile versions, in‑game features, virtual items/currency, and online services) (collectively, the “Services”).

2) Information we collect
- You provide directly
- Account & profile (email, username, display name, age band, region, preferred language).
- Support & communications (tickets, emails, recordings or transcripts where permitted by law).
- UGC & community (posts, chat, voice text, screenshots, streams, forum submissions).
- Contest/esports entries (contact details, eligibility info).
- Collected automatically
- Device & technical (platform account IDs, device model/OS, app version, IP address, approximate location from IP, settings, crash logs).
- Gameplay & telemetry (session times, match stats, progression, economy transactions, latency, performance).
- Anti‑cheat & security (runtime/process and environment metadata, integrity signals, unauthorized modifications, banned‑signature detection). We do not scan personal files unrelated to the Game.
- From third parties
- Platform/payment partners (Apple/Google/PlayStation/Xbox/Steam/Epic): purchase receipts and tokens, subscription status, but never card numbers.
- Analytics/ads (if enabled on the Site): metrics, attribution identifiers (e.g., mobile advertising IDs) and cookie IDs.
3) Why we use your information (purposes)

We also create aggregated/de‑identified statistics that do not identify you.
We do not sell your personal information for money. If we engage in cross‑context behavioral advertising on the Site, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and honor opt‑outs as required (e.g., under California law).
7) Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent where required. - Account & gameplay data: for the life of the account, then archived or deleted within 90–180 days.
- Purchase receipts/transactions: up to 7 years (tax/accounting).
- Anti‑cheat & security logs: typically 12–24 months; longer for users with enforcement actions.
- Crash/telemetry logs: 30–180 days.
- Support tickets: 3 years from closure (or longer for risk/legal matters).
10) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No system is 100% secure; please protect your account and enable platform‑level security features.
11) Your rights
EEA/UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection; rights related to automated decision‑making (including anti‑cheat enforcement) and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
U.S. state privacy laws (e.g., CA/VA/CO/CT/UT): confirm/access, delete, correct, portability, opt‑out of targeted advertising, and (where applicable) “Do Not Sell or Share” opt‑out. California residents may also request information about categories of personal information collected/disclosed and can limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
How to exercise: email privacy@dunescapedevelopment.com with your account email/ID. We may verify your request and may deny or limit requests as permitted by law. If we decline, you may have a right to appeal; instructions will be provided in our response.
12) Automated decision‑making (anti‑cheat)
We use automated systems to help detect cheating and fraud. This may result in enforcement (e.g., suspensions). You can contact us to appeal or request human review where required by law.

Third‑party sites/platforms are governed by their own policies. Please review their privacy practices.
14) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice (e.g., in‑game, on‑site, or by email).
